You don’t know the power of the dark side.
On May 4th, 2015, Celldweller unleashed “The Imperial March” — a Star Wars cover for the ages. Fans of the series and electronic music in general were taken back by the heavy, forceful nature of the single.
Now, Pegboard Nerds are here to save the day with a revival of the incredible track three years later. They kept just enough of the original cover intact, so the energy put in place by Celldweller still lives on. It isn’t long before Pegboard Nerds go crazy with their own style.
By the time you hear Darth Vader’s famous line — “I am your father” — It’s impossible to not surrender to the force. “The Imperial March” is deathly, relentless, and everything dubstep should be. This one-off single might sound especially amazing today more than others, but PBN have also included an instrumental mix so you can enjoy that villainous drop anytime you please.
May the 4th be with you today, Nerd Nation.
