Lil Uzi Vert Just Quit Music & This Actually Sucks

Steve Aoki & Lil Uzi Vert Team Up For ‘Smoke My Dope’

Lil Uzi Vert has made some serious waves over the past few years, forever making his mark on hip hop. But, he’s completely over it.

The “XO Tour Llif3” rapper is calling it quits from music for good — and we heard it straight from the source. While most artists are gearing up for a huge 2019, he’s setting his priorities on being “normal.”

“I deleted everything,” he shared in a final social update. “I wanna be normal … I wanna wake up in 2013. You are free.”

The talent that brought us one of the most famous lines of recent years — push me to the edge, all my friends are dead — has apparently found fame to be less than desirable.

We hope he can find peace following this undoubtedly difficult and complicated life choice. There aren’t enough artists who put mental health first.

We’ll miss your art, Lil Uzi Vert. Thanks for the memories.
