Super Square Gives “Sandstorm” An Epic Bass Facelift

Darude Remixes “Sandstorm” For New Angry Birds Update

Darude’s “Sandstorm” is perhaps one of the most popular dance music tracks in the world, known in many countries whether someone knows the name of the track or Darude or not. For the most part, it’s been relegated to meme status in sets, but haven’t you ever wanted to listen to it unironically?

Fortunately, Super Square just put out this epic bass remix of “Sandstorm” on KJ Sawka’s Impossible Records and it’s all we wanted and more. It’s definitely a short track, but it doesn’t take very long to get to the point. After the first false drop, it leads into the melody we all recognize… and from there, it drops into intense bass-filled stabs and synths like you’ve never heard “Sandstorm” before.

Having heard KJ Sawka himself drop this before, I can personally guarantee that when this gets dropped live, the crowd response is like no other. Check it out below!
