Dead Space, G. Felix – Take It Easy EP [Desert Hearts]

After a number of hot releases in 2019, Dead Space has teamed up with G. Felix to bring listeners their collaborative Take It Easy EP. Filled with moody yet catchy tunes, Take It Easy is an EP that fans of both artists will find familiar and satisfying.

Comprised of 3 brooding tech-house tracks, Dead Space and G. Felix have expertly prepared each tune for any late night rendezvous. The pair make use of a nostalgic vocal sample in the first track, “Tell Me,” creating a sense of longing through sound to kick off the EP. The title track, “Take It Easy,” follows strongly, and pairs yet another throwback vocal sample with intricately placed percussive elements, further exhibiting Dead Space and G. Felix’s keen ear for detail. “Take It Easy” hones in on its deeply oscillating bass, soundtracking a fresh synth build from the pair, ripe for the picking. Rounding out the Take It Easy EP is “Mantra,” an enigmatic anthem laced with a captivating chant. A nearly six minute wild ride of glistening synths and groovy rhythm, “Mantra” is a standout hit to finish off Dead Space and G. Felix’s three-track story.

Take It Easy is out now via Desert Hearts. Listen below!
