It’s been a huge year for Alok, one of Brazil’s biggest exports. Clocking in at #11 on this year’s DJ Mag poll, he’s been putting out a string of hits this year with artists ranging from Steve Aoki, Timmy Trumpet, Conor Maynard, and Sevenn. Alok has also had a big year touring making appearances at TomorrowLand, Burning Man, Ushuaia Ibiza, and headlining the iconic Rock in Rio festival in Brazil. Now, Alok’s teamed up with Lithuanian producer Dynoro for an infectious new track, “On & On.”
“On & On” is unquestionably a club banger, it opens with a vibey male vocal set over low-pitched synth notes to set the mood. The track continues to build up with a lot of classic dance production tropes; hand claps, hi-hats, a building synth note, before we get just a phenomenal drop. It’s Alok’s trademark Brazilian Bass set at the perfect tempo to get bodies moving. The vocal continues over the beat and they compliment each other perfectly.
