Acclaimed dubstep duo Zeds Dead released their latest banger ‘Sweet Memories’, which serves as a teaser for their upcoming album set for release in March 2025.
‘Sweet Memories’ samples Tina Turner’s timeless classic ‘I Can’t Stand The Rain’. The single opens with the sound of rain gently pattering on the ground, with brooding synths setting the stage for Tina’s modulated vocals which lead the way to a scintillating dubstep beat.
The track has a slow burn effect, and delicately eases the listener into the world the duo have birthed through the single. The way the sampling, production and sound design dance in tandem with one another is just pure genius and indicative of Zeds Dead. ‘Sweet Memories’ is a formidable single which lays a bold, expansive and limitless foundation for their new album.
