In our interview with Raffa FL, he discusses his love for Latin soundscapes, his upcoming album and plans for 2026.
You’re known for seamlessly blending Latin energy and influences with house music. What inspired this cultural fusion in the first place? 
Well, latino vibes has been always part of me and around my life since day one. After that I got to travel a lot in LATAM so the thing really got me inspired much more.
Do you produce music with the dancefloor in mind, or do you allow your instincts to take the lead?
Yes, always. Music needs to be made for having great dance floor sensations.
‘Ritmo’ has become a global hit with over 100 million streams on Spotify. How do you balance making a track that has commercial appeal while staying true to underground roots?
Yes, even if ‘Ritmo’ took over globally I’m still playing a bit of an underground sound.
You’ve mentioned that music is “in your blood”. What does this phrase mean to you today and how has it shaped your career?
In the past few years my music approach and development changed a bit. Growing up am viewing things from another pov, but music definitely is part of myself every day
How has your Italian roots influenced your sound and creative journey so far?
My inspiration has much more to do with UK sound in my very first part of my career, after that the Latin took over.
You’ve collaborated with artists from very different backgrounds. Has this taught you any significant lessons either creatively or personally?
Yes definitely. Every artist you collaborate with always brings something new that can be part of your next career steps.
What’s a creative risk you took in the studio that completely changed your perspective on producing?
I would say none. I have always been having a large range in music styles.
You’ve played everywhere from Ibiza to Mexico. Which crowd surprised you the most in terms of energy or connection?
LATAM definitely is the best place in the world for me to play. Energy is another level
What does a perfect Raffa FL set feel like to you either emotionally or artistically?
Oldschool house all the way. I’m a 90’s kid!
What does success look like to you now, compared to when you first started?
Well all has changed so much. Now I see my music more as a job and everything is much more personal.
What’s next for Raffa FL? Do you have any releases or collaborations coming up?
Next year I’m planning my very first album. And some great singles are on their way too!
