Electronic music luminary, Gesaffelstein has been awarded his first GRAMMY. The French producer, DJ songwriter and music programmer nabbed the GRAMMY for his remix of Lady Gaga‘s ‘Abracadabra’, in the Best Remixed Recording category. Fellow French producer and DJ David Guetta was nominated in the same category for his remix of  ‘Golden’ by Huntr/x from the movie KPOP Demon Hunters. Other nominations in the category included Kaytranada‘s remix of Mariah Carey’s ‘Don’t Forget About Us’, and Chris Lake‘s remix of The Chemical Brothers’ hit Galvanize’ .

This is another massive milestone for Gesaffelstein, and it highlights his signature dark, pulsating style in a phenomenal manner. Additionally, he was also nominated in the Album of the Year category for his contributions to Lady Gaga’s sixth album Mayhem which was released in 2025.

Upon receiving his GRAMMY award on stage, Gesaffelstein didn’t say a word and instead bowed down and blew the audience a kiss. He was wearing his signature black gloves and reflective, chiseled mask, which is the aesthetic that has become synonymous with the mysterious artist.
