Martin Garrix is bringing a personal touch to the rollout of his 2026 Americas tour, announcing that a selection of local DJs will join him as opening acts across multiple dates. The initiative highlights Garrix’s continued commitment to uplifting emerging talent while expanding the scale of his already massive live shows.

The global star shared the news alongside a heartfelt reflection on social media, posting a childhood drawing he made of himself performing as a successful DJ. Found this old drawing from little me and it made me smile,” he shares with viewers on Instagram. “The manifestation is real!! in less than 2 weeks I’m heading out on my biggest tour yet across north & south america, playing some of my dream venues with my craziest production yet.”

The moment, both nostalgic and symbolic, underscored just how far he’s come. From dreaming about the stage to headlining some of the biggest venues across North and South America. In his caption, Garrix described the upcoming run as his “biggest tour yet,” promising ambitious new production and a series of long-awaited performances in dream locations.

Last month, Garrix dropped his latest single ‘Catharina’, marking the first time he’s stepped up to the mic with his own vocals. Looking ahead to the summer season, he’s also gearing up to return to Ushuaïa Ibiza for his 11th residency at the iconic venue.

Alongside the tour hype, Garrix confirmed that winners of his local openers contest have officially been selected. The competition, designed to spotlight up-and-coming DJs in each tour city, offers a rare opportunity for grassroots artists to perform in front of massive crowds. His team is expected to contact the chosen acts directly, marking a significant career moment for those stepping onto the stage before one of electronic music’s most recognisable names.

Blending forward-looking ambition with a reflection on his early beginnings, the announcement adds a deeper narrative to what is already shaping up to be a landmark tour. With new production, fresh faces behind the decks, and a full-circle story at its core, the 2026 Americas run is poised to be more than just a series of shows – it’s a celebration of growth, community, and the power of dreaming big.
