Benny Benassi and Felix Da Housecat have joined forces with Ultra Records and LabelRadar to launch a new remix competition centred around their collaborative track ‘Chicago Baby’, inviting producers worldwide to put their own spin on the release.
The competition opens the door for emerging talent to reinterpret the track through a house-driven lens rooted in both artists’ long-standing influence on global club culture. Benassi, best known for shaping the electronic mainstream with landmark releases such as ‘Satisfaction’ and ‘Cinema’, joins forces with Chicago-born Felix Da Housecat, a key figure in the development of electro and house with a signature style blending funk, futurism, and underground edge.
Alongside the opportunity for an official release through Ultra Records (subject to label approval), the winning producer will also receive two tickets to a Benny Benassi headline show of their choice in the US. A runner-up prize includes a limited ‘Feel The Bass’ vinyl, adding a collectible incentive for participants. 
Entries for the ‘Chicago Baby’ remix competition close at 11:59pm PST on 20 June 2026, with submissions open to producers based in the US, Puerto Rico, Canada (excluding Quebec), the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
