Martin Garrix has offered fans an early look at his next chapter, revealing that a new album is in the works while reflecting on the artists who have inspired his career, including the legendary Daft Punk.
Speaking during a recent interview with Toronto radio station KiSS 92.5, the Dutch producer revealed that his forthcoming project is expected to arrive towards the end of 2026. The album will mark his first full-length release since Sentio in 2022 and, according to Garrix, will feature a number of unexpected collaborations with artists he never imagined working alongside.
While discussing the project, Garrix also reflected on the artists who have influenced his own musical journey, naming the iconic French duo Daft Punk as his dream collaborators. Although Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo officially ended the project in 2021, Garrix said the pair’s impact on electronic music and his own career makes the idea of working with them an enduring ambition. 
The announcement follows a busy period for Garrix, who recently reunited with Ed Sheeran for the release of ‘Repeat It’, a collaboration first teased more than a decade ago. While details surrounding the new album remain limited, with neither a title nor official release date confirmed, Garrix’s latest comments suggest fans can expect new music before the end of the year, alongside a collection of collaborations that could offer some surprising additions to his catalogue.
For now, a Martin Garrix and Daft Punk collaboration may remain firmly in the realm of wishful thinking, but with a new album on the horizon, the producer’s next chapter is already beginning to take shape.
