John Summit Teases Arena Tour Concept Inspired By ‘Severance’

John Summit is set to reimagine the arena live experience with a new tour concept inspired by the Apple TV+ series Severance. Speaking at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France, the DJ revealed early details about the creative direction behind his forthcoming CTRL ESCAPE arena run, which will blend electronic music performance with a distinctive corporate-themed visual identity.

Summit explained that the production will transform large-scale venues into immersive “corporate rave” environments, drawing on office and cubicle aesthetics as a central design element. “I’m going to bring the corporate cubicle kind of lifestyle to the stage,” he said, describing the concept as a Severance-style world adapted for live electronic music, where arenas become stylised office spaces built for dancefloor energy.

The CTRL ESCAPE tour, named after his upcoming sophomore album, will mark Summit’s first full-scale arena production cycle and is set to span 20 dates across North America. While full details remain under wraps, the project is expected to push beyond traditional DJ set formats, positioning itself as a fully immersive live experience tailored specifically for arena audiences.
