Electronic music storyteller MÖM has unveiled another striking new offering, titled ‘Tierra’.
Released today via MÖMusic, the melodic techno single earnestly dives into themes of solitude and movement, as well as the connection between humans and the natural environment. ‘Tierra’ is built on sweeping synths, an extravagant bassline and a brooding, yet ethereal atmosphere. The track merges futuristic sound design with emotively-driven storytelling, which perfectly captures the essence of MÖM’s groundbreaking artistry.
The tension of the single is palpable throughout, but MÖM does a phenomenal job at balancing it with eclectic vocals and hypnotic synths, which add a sense of warmth to the track. The single is heavily influenced by desert textures and expansive environments, which can be felt through the daring yet precise sound design. 
The track’s exploration of “futuristic western aesthetics”, not only makes it unique, but forges a distinct sonic blueprint that highlights the power of creating with intention.
‘Tierra’ follows the incredible momentum of MÖM’s previously released single ‘Circles’ which won Best Original Song at the International Music Video Awards (IMVA). A music video for ‘Tierra’ is also underway, and was filmed on the volcanic island of Fuerteventura.
