Australian duo LMNT 115, made up of songwriter Z and producer Fab, started their project in November 2024. Their animated, cyberpunk-inspired style quickly made them stand out in electronic dance music. With a blend of polished pop-dance production and strong visual storytelling, they’ve been compared to Marshmello, MEDUZA, and Gorillaz. In just over a year, they’ve reached more than 10 million streams. Now, they’re releasing ‘Fuse,’ a new track with Ky-Mani Marley that wraps up their debut EP, ‘Isotope.’ The five-song EP also includes earlier singles like ‘Close To You’ with Sadie Rose Van, ‘Holding On To Us’ with Brando, ‘Out Of The Dark’ with Zak Abel, and ‘Paradise‘ with Daya, giving listeners a clear idea of how the duo’s sound is evolving.
With ‘Fuse,’ LMNT 115 shifts into a moodier pop-dance space while keeping emotion at the forefront. The track opens with gentle piano, subtle shakers, and the warmth of Ky-Mani Marley’s vocals, creating an atmosphere that draws listeners in without veering from the duo’s electronic foundation. As the percussion builds, the song shifts between hushed moments and bursts of energy, echoing its core message of finding purpose amid uncertainty.
LMNT 115 shared: “‘Fuse‘ is a song about rediscovery. It came from moments when life feels heavy. Sometimes, you’re stuck in old patterns or unsure what you’re still fighting for. Writing it was our way of acknowledging that feeling. We also wanted to remind ourselves that the spark is still there, if you’re willing to look inward and reignite it. Having Ky-Mani Marley bring his voice and energy to ‘Fuse‘ was incredibly special. His tone has this emotional weight, a resilience and warmth that fits the story perfectly.“
