Famed actor Elijah Wood will perform an all vinyl set at a The Lord of the Rings–themed event in Denver at the end of May.
The event will celebrate 25 years of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, where Elijah is known for his infamous role as Frodo Baggins. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes to the now sold-out event on 31, May at the Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom.
Elijah will perform with his DJ partner of 15 years and Hollywood Music Supervisor Zach Cowie, as their duo Wooden Wisdom. Their set will mostly be made up of 70s and 80s disco, with the event’s organisers saying that “Elijah Wood (known to the world as Frodo Baggins) and acclaimed DJ/music supervisor Zach Cowie, have built a devoted following genre-defying vinyl sets that weave together rare gems and beloved classics”. 
The Denver performance forms part of a broader tour announced via the duo’s recently launched Instagram page, and includes a performance on 22 March at The Vanguard in Orlando, as well as additional shows in Kansas City, Dallas and Los Angeles.
