Toneshifterz unleashes searing new album ‘Ravers Revolution’

Australian Hardstyle stalwart Toneshifterz just dropped his third album today via Be Yourself Music. Ravers Revolution follows his 2018 album Shifting To The Source and his debut album Till Daybreak Meets.. which dropped in 2011.

Ravers Revolution marks a significant milestone in Toneshifterz career, as the album sees him reflect on his journey so far while simultaneously honing his sound and artistic vision. Across 13 tracks, Toneshifterz showcases a refined, intentional sound, sharpened by cutting-edge sound design and explosive energy throughout. The album prioritises movement, energy and danceability, and this sentiment is highly evident right from the opening track all the way until the album concludes.

The album is a staggering culmination of Tonshifterz’ incredible experience over his 15 + year career, and further cements his position as a pioneer within the global hard dance / hard style scene. From the monstrous energy of the album’s opening track ‘Give It All’ which features Brennan Heart and Project Zeitgeist, to the abrasive and distorted bassline of ‘I Get Down’, to the menacing energy of ‘R.A.V.E’ featuring MC Stretch, and finally the seething intensity of the closing track ‘Clarity’ with Darryn Styles, which is an edit of Zedd’s hit ‘Clarity’ – we can confidently say the album is a certified hard dance masterpiece. Additionally, track 6 on the album, ‘Harder Styles United’ was selected as the official anthem for Knockout Outdoor 2025, which is Australia’s biggest harder styles music festival!

Sharing more on the inspiration and creative approach behind the album, Toneshifterz said; “I started asking myself whether I was evolving with the culture, or just repeating what had once worked. In many ways, this album is a return. When I listened back to some of my early productions, I realised the DNA of what I’m doing now was already there years ago. The difference is that now after so many years, I see it clearly, and I have the experience to execute it properly. Hardstyle became very extreme and explosive over the years, which I love. But I also missed the feeling of continuous movement on the dancefloor. I wanted to bring back that sense of flow, where people don’t just wait for the drop, they live inside the energy. Melodic music will be here to stay, and that’s a fact, I will always make music that encapsulates that feeling of euphoria. This album isn’t about chasing trends, its about the genesis of this ‘new’ sound which was something I already started long ago. It’s about trusting instinct, reconnecting with who I was when I started, and pushing it forward. That’s the real revolution.”

Over the course of his incredible career, Toneshifterz has become one of the most in demand hard dance producers and DJs, with performances at major festivals such as Defqon.1, EDC, Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland and Mysteryland, while he’s also one of very few artists who created the official Defqon.1 anthem twice in 2011 and 2016.
