A dramatic stage collapse has forced Italy’s Alien Sound Festival to postpone its planned July 4–5 edition after severe weather swept through Naples during the event’s final build. Organisers confirmed the towering main stage gave way under strong winds before attendees were allowed on site, with no injuries reported as the structure was unoccupied at the time.
Following the incident, local authorities withdrew the authorisation required for the festival to proceed, prompting organisers to cancel the weekend despite extensive efforts to keep the event on schedule. Footage of the collapse has since spread across social media, while the festival stressed that the decision to call off the event was beyond its control after working around the clock to salvage the production. 
Rather than ending the celebration altogether, Alien Sound has announced a replacement event set for July 23. The one-day edition will feature returning artists from the original lineup, including Gordo and Ozuna, with additional details expected in the coming weeks. Existing festival tickets will remain valid for the new date.
Organisers also confirmed that anyone unable to attend the rescheduled event will be eligible for a refund. In a statement shared with fans, the team thanked ticket holders for their patience and support, expressing hope that the revised edition will deliver an even stronger experience despite the unexpected setback.
