Back in December of last year, Krewella released their first remix EP of their highly acclaimed debut release, Play Hard. The EP featured a slew of incredible remixes as well as their latest drum & bass original, Come & Get It. Now months later, it appears that the time has come for Come & Get It to get the official remix treatment.

The EP itself consists of six diverse remixes that collectively represent Krewella‘s passion and talent for energetic tunes that  consistently push sonic boundaries. Featuring remixes from Savoy, Kairo Kingdom, Razihel, The Chaotic Good, Rogue and DMNDZ – the EP showcases a myriad of sounds which will suit each bass music fan’s personal tastes in a slightly different fashion. Hands down my personal highlights of the EP have to be Razihel and Rogue‘s remixes. Both artists compliment the sultry vocals of Jahan and Yasmine with a healthy allotment of wobbles and snarling bass which in my opinion is a combination that simply can’t be beat. DMNDZ and Savoy both elected to create trap remixes of the original and in my opinion these turned out to be some of the weakest selections of the EP. DMNDZ‘s rendition of the original continues to push the pace which is more to my liking but personally I was very disappointed that Savoy‘s effort didn’t capture the raw emotion Krewella’s creations so commonly posses.

Despite your personal taste in bass music there is no doubt that Krewella‘s Come & Get It Remix EP is a quality FREE release so make sure to stream and download the entire EP below.

Also, if you’re in the mood for something a little more bass heavy check out Droptek‘s remix of the track we reviewed HERE. Enjoy.
