2018 started off on a strong note with Oliver Heldens announcing a collaboration between his alias HI-LO and Swedish fun guys Dada Life called “Love Vibrations.” Only a 30 second teaser was given, but it was already apparent that the two artists were going to keep the underground alive in their mix.
Now that the track is out in full, that is reinforced ten fold. You won’t hear any of Heldens’ typical synth progressions (especially since this is a HI-LO track) nor will you hear Dada Life’s vibrant, bigger than life kicks and chords. Instead, what you get is a wickedly catchy bassline and hook that should have no trouble embedding themselves in your head for days.
