The first announcements regarding Insomniac’s Electric Daisy Carnival Chicago have just been announced. The festival will take place from Friday, May 24th to Sunday, May 26th during Memorial Day weekend. The festival will be held at the Chicagoland Speedway, similar to EDC Las Vegas at the Motor Speedway, located in Joliet, IL. One main difference from this extension of EDC than the rest is that Insomniac will be giving attendees the opportunity to camp out.
“As Insomniac continues to grow, our first priority is listening to our fans and they’ve made us feel confident that EDC has a home in Chicago,” said Insomniac CEO, Pasquale Rotella. “This is the first EDC that will offer fans the opportunity to camp while enjoying the festival and I know that the Chicagoland Speedway is the ideal location. I’m really excited we’ve added Chicago to the EDC family of festivals.”
Tickets for the event will go on sale January 23rd at noon central time. Before fees, a 3-day GA ticket will set you back $175 and VIP will run $299. A 3-day festival/camping pass will cost $295 and 3-day VIP festival/camping pass will be $419.
