If there is one trend I hope gets bigger in house music in 2013, it’s this style of bouncy house that Melbourne acts like Stevie Mink and Orkestrated have been absolutely killing it with. I just checked out their recent remixes of T-Rek‘s Don’t Trip and I was very much a fan of both of their efforts. Orkestrated‘s remix blurs the lines between house, tech house, and electro house and proves just how powerful a minimal yet bass-heavy track can be. This one has enough bass to shake the people standing in line outside of the club. Stevie Mink‘s is a bit heavier on the electro house side of things with a great build, spot on use of the vocal sample, and an absolutely thumping drop.
