Swanky Tunes & Peking Duk feat. James McNally – You Are Like Nobody Else [Showland]

Pretty cool collaboration right here from Swanky Tunes and Australian duo, Peking Duk. Sure the drop is a great anthem style house hook, but the intro is what really caught my attention. The track seems like it’s going to be a real powerful love ballad to start. Beautiful piano chords mixed with James McNally‘s powerful vocals are the real heart and soul of You Are Like Nobody Else. I wish more artists would lean towards mastering sounds and samples like this because it would really broaden what listeners are hearing. A lot of songs are just packed with Swedish House Mafia hooks and it gets real repetitive and generic. Hopefully more artists will start expanding their sounds, and will feel comfortable to stray away from what the average listener may want to hear. You can grab a copy of this track on Beatport.
