Boysnoize Records brings us two very special tracks for their 100th official release! I had no doubt that Alex Ridha (Boys Noize) was going to go all out for the labels 100th release, and as soon as I heard that Justice had remixed “Ich R U” and The Chemical Brothers had remixed “XTC” for the EP, I knew it was going to be good.
The signature dark, piercing synths of Justice turned “Ich R U” into a hard rocking electronic symphony; a feat that the French Duo have been accomplishing over and over since their debut album back in 2007. And I can’t think of a better track to accompany the filthy distorted techno sounds of Justice’s “Ich R U” remix than the thrilling acid techno remix of “XTC” by The Chemical Brothers. This one is a fierce ride from start to finish, and will really hit you hard when the bass comes in.
