Flechette – Caravan (Original Mix) [Cream Collective]

You won’t generally find me writing about trap. That’s most likely because I don’t like the festival stuff that seems to just leak out of dirty pipes on the daily. Instead, I like to keep things fresh with my trap and be very selective. It shouldn’t come as any surprise, then, once you hear ‘Caravan’ by Flechette why I am writing about this one.

Varien has described it as ‘Arabic twerk music,’ and the reason is pretty obvious at first glance. Those first plucked strings carry a distinct Middle Eastern vibe, as do the horns and synths. Couple all of that with fresh 808s, a pervasive eastern influence and heavy bass and you’ve got an underground trap anthem.
