ZHU has already had massive success with his premier release Nightday. EP in April, but it doesn’t seem like he has any intention of stopping. I mean, why would he? The mystery producer based out of LA has released a refix of Lana Del Rey’s track “West Coast” that is totally the tits.
No one has really done music quite the way ZHU does, and that’s fantastic. The way in which he layers his own vocals over Lana’s, with the poppy kicks and catchy synths, makes this seem less like a remix and more like an official collaboration. Such a huge level of production is awesome to behold and even better to listen to. Over.. and over… and over again.
