JL wasn’t a name that was familiar to me until I heard his double single release, Never Have // Night Walk. Thank to DIEHIGH Records, these two tracks are being released for free and I couldn’t be more ecstatic. The Australian label has been pushing some dope music and JL serves up some big tunes. He has a distinct sound that he takes two different directions with these songs. “Night Walk” boasts big horns that exude a high class red carpet feel. It’s for the ballers. “Never Have” shares the uplifting nature of the first, however this is taken up a notch. The feels will flow no doubt and all of them will be cheery. As far as the mix and master, grade A. I am very impressed with the clarity, as well as the unique sound it exhibits. Get these gems right now!
