The popular dance move known as “shuffling” that you often see fans participate in at events and festivals is now the primary focus of a new documentary. Director Kez Glozier and filmmaker Sam Hiscox examine the origins of shuffling that originate from The Charleston, a 1920s jazz dance, as well as how it has developed into what we know it as today. Arranged by British documentary magazine The New British, the 25 minute documentary Release¬†will premiere on August 1 at the London club Basement as part of an “authentic house night.”
