When Calvin Harris released the electro tune C.U.B.A. late last June it fell flat for many fans who have grown accustomed to his sing along chart topping style. Regardless of how you feel about C.U.B.A., Frankie Sanchez and Instant Party! have come through and flipped the track into a phenomenal half time barn burner that deserves more attention than the original.
The collaborative remix does a masterful job reworking the persian style melody into a rhythm that perfectly compliments the rapid fire kick drums and percussion rolls. Of course the guys couldn’t sit still in their arrangement so on the second drop they come back through with a more familiar hardstyle beat which will give the DJ’s out there plenty of queue points to choose from within this diverse remix.
