Let’s go back to 1999. Alright, well we can’t really do that unless we get everyone to start wearing baggy pants again and kids cartoons get back to being awesome again. Or a time machine. However, Sharkoffs takes us back to that year with his take on “The Bad Touch.” His crafty touches on the Bloodhound Gang hit are anything but bad; he turns the humorous beast into a drum & bass tune catered to Millenials. 8-Bit undertones rid the fast paced production to give the listener some real throwback vibes (I mean, the song literal starts out with an iconic gaming sample). There’s not a lot of drum & bass that I think everyone can get their heads into, but this is one of those that no matter what genre you dig, you have to appreciate this work. So good and so free.
