You may have noticed last week that Diplo uploaded a track to his Soundcloud titled ‘Everyday‘ with the simple description, “rap on this”. Whereas most producers hold remix competitions, or go through and select the best edits of their songs, Diplo simply wanted his hip hop savvy fans to show what they could do, and really facilitated some cool rap edits of one of Diplo’s more swanky originals.
Well this week the Major Lazer madman is at it again, but this time he’s calling on producers to remix some of his classic tunes. He uploading a capellas of ‘6th Gear‘, ‘Express Yourself‘, ‘Biggie Bounce‘, and ‘Revolution‘ and encouraged producers to “do something cool with this.”
I don’t know about you but I’m really excited to see what you creative folks can do with these tracks and look forward to seeing you on the eventual remix EP (C’mon, you know it’s coming)
