Whether you love him or hate him, it’s undeniable that Tijs Michiel Verwest, better known as Tiësto, has had an incredible impact on Trance and Electronic Dance Music. Throughout the past years, from his Club Life podcast, to his Musical Freedom label, Tijs has helped shape EDM the way it is today. While some might disapprove of his switch from Trance music to House, it is quite apparent that the artist and at times businessman has really made some of the best decisions for himself and his brand to stay as relevant as possible in this ever changing scene and industry. If you’re an avid fan of Tiësto, you’ll know that today is his birthday and the famous DJ and producer turned 46 today. So it’s without further ado that I’d like to wish Tiesto a happy birthday!
