Ultra Music Festival usually marks the start of the year’s festival season. Being one of the first of the year, Ultra Music Festival has the unique chance to set the tone and standard for the upcoming festival season in terms of music, production and talent. Now, after releasing the phase 1 lineup, Ultra has decided to throw one more bone out before the next announcement; Resistance.
In a public post on their social networks, Ultra Music Festival has revealed the details to a new stage that will feature more underground artists. Although deep house was one of the biggest trends in electronic music in 2014, the coordinators still believe the genre is underground enough to push as their attempt to cater to all audiences.
The lineup, however, contains some fantastic artists such as Art Department, Jamie Jones, T.E.E.D. and plenty more. You can check out Ultra’s official statement on the new venture as well as the lineup below:
RESISTANCE:
It’s the urge to go against the grain, to step out of the box, to move away from the norm and challenge yourself to experience something new– to break down boundaries and barriers and abandon your comfort zone– to be able to open your eyes and ears to an undiscovered realm of electronic music.
BWAHAHAH you guys wouldn’t know underground if you took all the ecstasy at your show and died!
Not an awful line-up, would love to see artists like S3RL and DJ Splash on it too, they don’t get enough credit and happy hardcore is amazing.
One female artist out of 25 acts… You can do better than that, Ultra.
LOL what a joke. Let’s book an “underground” stage and call it “RESISTANCE,” then book a bunch of boring, white tech house DJs. I guess we shouldn’t mention the name UNDERGROUND RESISTANCE is already pretty established…
Really great they are letting tINI headline wow now she’s gonna blow the fuck up to stratospheric proportions….
so you couldnt get skrillex? lol
Fuck ya… Maceo Plex…. but I’m still not going back this year :/
I see what they did there… Not sure if I approve or not but I can dig it
They just copied the time warp line up.
cheaper fee’s & more HIP!!!
NICE!
