After being featured on Pete Tong’s Radio 1 last summer, fans have been eagerly awaiting for the release of Erick Morillo and Harry Romero’s “Devotion” featuring Shawnee Taylor. Earlier last week, the catchy house track was finally made available on Subliminal/Ultra Records.
Today Your EDM is happy to premiere the official music video for “Devotion.” The video combines vibrant colors with the dynamic dance track to depict a behind-the-scenes story of an advertising campaign featuring a beverage called, you guessed it, Devotion. As stresses run high with the water-sipping director screaming, paper shredding, and flipping a table, other stage managers backstage took turns sampling the drink Devotion. One by one, those who had a taste of the magic Devotion turned into a dancing zombie, leaving the directors surprised, yet oddly satisfied with the outcome. Just goes to show you that sometimes ditching the plan, letting fate fall into place, and believing in your product is the best way to make art happen.
