There’s been an influx of deeper house tunes this year, but Golden Features’ newest track cuts through the noise. “No One (Feat. Thelma Plum)” is a darkened masterpiece with roots firmly planted in the deep end of house. Thelma Plum is magnificent, lending seductive vocals to contrast the track’s brooding bass-line as it treads purposefully into the soundscape. Golden Features has left plenty of breathing room throughout the entire five minutes, adding brilliant accents to further support the tantalizing lyrics. The break at 2:20 is a refreshing descent into the mellow before ramping back up for another round of pumping house goodness. Have a listen below.
