JayKode offers up some really dope future bass with his latest track, “Release,” featuring Tima Dee on vocals.
Small elements of trap and jersey club permeate this tune, giving it a really full flavor. None of the sounds are anything revolutionary or innovative – in fact, I’ve heard a lot of these effects and synths from guys like Seven Lions or Cashmere Cat. But that’s to be expected in this era when so much of music has already been explored. At that point, it’s best to use existing sounds and arrange them in unique and innovative ways.
And in that regard, JayKode exceeds brilliantly.
