The mega compilation album 15 Years Of Technique is dropping soon and has a staggering number of tracks on it, featuring the likes of many of drum & bass stalwarts from years past and current. In listening through the compilation, all of the tracks were good, no doubt about it.
But I wasn’t looking for good, I was looking for different.
And so I picked out Oder to premiere his track “Closer.” I’ve never heard of Oder before but this tune definitely gives me a bright hope for his future. This Portuguese producer lays down an exceptional bassline amidst a bevy of hard hitting percussion and a pretty innovative synth line. It’s very alien in nature, giving it a clear and fresh otherworldly feel.
