For those of you out of the loop, Ephwurd is a phenomenon that occurs when dubstep legend Datsik and newcomer Bais Haus cross their production talents together and create music. Already releasing a remix with ETC!ETC! of “Lean On”, the summer anthem “Rock The Party” with Jauz, and a free downloadable track with Liinks, Ephwurd make some room for their first solo release on a major label.
Featuring Canadian rapper DKAY, Ephwurd conjure up a mean G-house track with ferocious basslines and thuggish vocals. Even though this song is asking for “fat ass” Snapchats over “duck faces”, the latest release on SPRS Records adds more grime in its house rhythm than comical value (which is a good thing). We also get a trap-flavored drop that rounds off that Ephwurd filthy house style.
