Rustie Announces Indefinite Leave From Performing Due To Addiction

The EDM world has taken a collective gasp today, as beloved super-producer and DJ, Rustie, has announced an indefinite cancellation due to serious personal issues.

Due to addiction & mental health problems, all gigs in the near future are cancelled. Very very sorry & hope to see u all soon ?

— EVENIFUDONTBELIEVE (@RUSTIE) December 19, 2015

Rustie is one of the most respected talents in the game, so this decision comes as a huge disappointment for die-hard EDM fans. Known for massive hits such as “Slasherr” and his trapped-out edit of A.G. Cook’s “Beautiful,” the Glasgow-native will truly be missed. On the heels of his largely successful album, EVENIFYOUDONTBELIEVE, hopes are high that he will still be able to produce.

Most importantly, and I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say this, we wish Russel the best of luck as he delves into this vigorous battle with his own self.
