Sunset Music Festival played host to some of EDM’s biggest acts including Jack Ü, Hardwell, and The Chainsmokers, but it was one of EDM’s top new acts Marshmello who really stole the show.
Marshmello debuted a new collaborative single with Ookay in front of a huge crowd at the festival. Though he played only about forty seconds, those forty seconds were enough to convince me that the two DJs might have just written the new festival trap anthem of the summer. The track itself is an energetic summer banger with complex melodies and a very pop driven vocal.
