Camikaze Drops Heavy Remix EP For ‘Shadows’ [Be Rich Recordings]

At the start of 2016 we were blessed with a new single by little-known producer Camikaze and vocalist Zoe D’Adore. The single “Shadows” would outperform the only other song on Camikaze’s SoundCloud page, a remix of Pekin Duk, by over 28x. While it’s also a stretch to say that that catapulted him onto the scene as a star, the single has nevertheless spawned a remix EP with three different tracks from across the board. Best of all Camikaze has opted to use the remix EP to showcase three talented new producers from across the board but are more than talented enough to breathe new life into the scene.

illstrtd kicks off laid-back, spring influenced remix complete with chimes and tight snares before Ekko & Sidetrack turn it up with a frantic dubstep remix perfect for me to blast while I play Overwatch. Finally, Kloake takes us home with an 80s synth-driven trap take with a drop made for the summer festivals.

Stream the remix EP below.
