Slushii, Getter & More Team Up for Marshmello ‘Alone’ Remix Package

Marshmello‘s “Alone” has been one of the fastest-growing singles in dance music this year, and Monstercat just dropped the ultimate remix package for the track. The EP is extremely well rounded, which comes off as a bit of a surprise considering the heap of well-known producers that came together for this project. Among these are Getter, Diskord, remix competition winner MRVLZ, and Mello’s own protégé Slushii.

While some of these remixes aren’t so surprising in terms of sound (see our writeup on the Getter remix), many others definitely impressed with their appearances. For example, Slushii entirely replaced the original’s high-pitched chorus with his own distinctly-flavored vocals. Streex and Diskord follow in this same path with their respective remixes, but with much more punk rock and pop influence than the previous. All in all, I think this remix pack must be one of the most stacked of 2016. I’m sure we’re going to be hearing all of these at festivals worldwide over the next few months.
