Mysteryland is set to become the next pioneer in the festival live stream circuit after announcing that they would be the very first to incorporate virtual reality into the weekend stream. From Saturday, August 27 at 10 a.m. PST to Sunday, August 28 at 11 p.m., fans will be able to tune into the Youtube stream with virtual reality headwear or Google cardboard to experience the festivities like never before.
Meanwhile, on the festival’s social media channels, a 360-degree live stream will also be available, so that even those of us without the proper tech can immerse ourselves in the action.
Finally, for attendees at the Netherlands festival, a brand new station will be arranged to be used during breaks from the weekend sun. The Living Room: A Virtual Reality Experience will be held atop the Mysteryland pyramid where concertgoers can take a load off in between sets without missing any of the excitement and sights on the grounds.
