This month past month has been one of throwbacks for the talented producer Crankdat. Coming off the heels of a supreme remix of The Chainsmokers‘ #1 track “Closer,” Crankdat decided to go on a throwback remixing binge. He started with two incredible remixes, remixing Porter Robinson‘s “Unison,” and Swedish House Mafia‘s”Save The World.” Now he has continued this trend, remixing the classic track “Louder” by DJ Fresh.
The track starts as a lot of older tracks would, ambient chords with a full bass. Vocals come into play, taking hold of the listener with the familiar “Louder” lyrics. The track builds in anticipation for an unexpected, heavy-hitter of a drop. Massive subs knock you off your feet with a synth that will leave a stank face stuck on your mug. Crankdat shows his more melodic side with the second drop, rounding out the piece nicely. Listen and grab your free download below:
