If for whatever reason you’ve been following my writing for some time, you’ll probably recall that I’ve featured PLS&TY several times in the past. Now, I’ve (finally) been given the pleasure of premiering his latest work, a beautifully constructed remix of “YDU” by Opia.
The remix starts off nice and sombre with PLS&TY building the atmosphere with layers upon layers of sound as Opia’s vocals creep in before we’re treated with a typical hard-hitting PLS&TY drop. Unlike some of his previous work, his remix of “YDU” features a more subtle production hand which translates to an elegantly mysterious track that truly stands out.
