Many people don’t know this, but our staff here at Your EDM is like a family. And when a member of that family succeeds, even if they’ve since moved on from our staff, we like to support them. Johnny Gives used to write for us and has spend the last year developing his debut EP, agonizing over it until he felt it was absolutely ready to show the world.
The EP title, The Beginning, is perhaps a little on the nose, but it’s a great representation of Johnny’s mentality in this industry, that this EP is only the beginning.
Though not absolutely perfect in its execution, it’s a strong show of production ability, and it shows the beginning of something that could have great potential in the future.
