Conflicting Reports Suggest A 2017 Swedish House Mafia Reunion Could Be Possible

According to multiple sources close to the matter, Swedish House Mafia‘s rumored 2017 reunion is a go. Several sources told Billboard that performances are likely to include Miami’s Ultra Music Festival in March, as well as stops in Los Angeles and New York. Members Axwell and Ingrosso are both already set to headline Ultra.

Amy Thomson, longtime manager of SHM, has told Billboard directly that the rumors are false. “There’s no reunion of Swedish House Mafia planned at all. Even if there was, it’s ridiculously private. They’re not playing at Ultra. There’s no reunion tour planned.”

Thomson also took to her Twitter to respond to the rumors.

Ever since the rumors began to pick up steam in July of this year after Proximity teased their return, Axwell, Angello and Ingrosso have all denied their validity.

Despite their, and Thomson’s, denial, however, the sources close to the matter have maintained that the reunion will happen.
