After a strong 2016 which saw a reinvigorated Felix Cartal knock a few emotional house singles out of the park the man is ready to close out his big year in style with his final release “Falling Down.”
Unlike the other singles and remixes that Felix put out, there’s not a strong lead vocal in this tune as it’s tailor-made to be played out by DJs, but let’s be real – what’s there not to love about a bouncy deep house track? “Falling Down” relies on a one-line vocal sample and to be honest, that’s all it really needs. Superbly chopped at all the right areas, the catchy line combines perfectly with the instrumental to create the kind of groovy, head-nodding kind of music you’d hear at a beach party in Miami. Or anywhere with a beach really. Or just water in general.
