So this is one of those really cool moments that we love reporting on. Our favorite cover artist, Matt McGuire, who’s done drum covers for a lot of EDM artists like Porter Robinson & Madeon, and a whole lot of Skrillex, will officially be joining The Chainsmokers on their “Memories: Do Not Open” tour as their drummer.
In the announcement on Facebook he wrote:
“I have officially joined forces with The Chainsmokers as their drummer!!! Here is a brand new Paris Cover!! SEE YOU ON TOUR! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR BELIEVING IN ME!!!” 
So a huge congratulations to Matt on this honor and achievement.
However, now we know that The Chainsmokers are going to have a live set up on their forthcoming tour. What form it will ultimately take is more of a mystery, but it will at least have live drums, and no doubt Drew will still be singing. We’re now more excited than ever for what’s bound to be one of the biggest EDM tours of the year.
