It’s been a minute since Jai Wolf’s debut EP Kindred Spirits dropped back in 2016 and it’s good to finally have the talented producer back with his brand new single “Starlight.” The single features the rich textured vocals of Mr Gabriel; and if you were a fan of Kindred Spirits, then you’ll love the newly crafted sound that Jai Wolf has developed.
Truth be told, it’s really hard to describe “Starlight.” It’s emotional and cinematic. Anthemic and triumphant. Warm synths and moving piano keys work together harmoniously to get the most out of Mr Gabriel’s lush vocals. The single might be hard to place in one single ‘sound,’ but give it a few listens and it’ll be sure to find itself a place somewhere warm and cozy inside you.
