We’ve talked about Emmit Fenn before, the singer/songwriter with a voice of silk. He’s just put out his newest single, and it’s perhaps the most sensual thing we’ve heard this year. Entitled “Woman,” the slow, droning voice of Emmit, paired with a minimal drum loop, bassline and soft piano notes, it evokes a number of sensual scenes in one’s mind.
The simplicity of the track means you might not put it on by itself and be done with it; rather, it’s like a delicious apertif to be had with something a little more appetizing. However, when it comes to whetting your whistle, it’s hard to find something that does the job better.
